Another Tanjore Painting made by me.......This time I chose Bani-Thani as my subject which is actually Rajasthani style of painting. So this piece of work has come out to be a blend of Rajasthani and Tanjore Art

I've made this functional maze for my cousin's kids whose names are Meha and Mohak. The maze represents the letter "M". The flower name initials represent the other letters of the kids names........

ये बूँदें.......

आसमान से गिरती मेरा चेहरा चूमने को आतुर ये बूँदें.........

कपडे सुखाने की तार पर बल्ब की झालर-सी चमकती ये बूँदें........

मुरझाती शाखों को जीवन देकर मिटटी में मिल जाती ये बूँदें........

नीचे पहुँचने की चाह में किसी खम्बे पे होड़ लगाती ये बूँदें..........

बूंदों को पकड़ना चाहूँ, पर पकड़ ना पाऊं,

मेरी हथेली की ऊष्मा को अपने में समाहित करती ये बूँदें.........

कभी गौर से देखो इनको,

अपने छोटे-से आँचल में पूरी दुनिया समेट ले जाती ये बूँदें.......
ये बूँदें.......

जो तुम साथ हो

सुबह की कुनकुनी धूप में, तुम्हारा हाथ पकड़कर साथ चलते-चलते,

जीवन का लम्बा सफ़र तय कर लेंगे.........जो तुम साथ हो !!!

बहते हुए पानी के साथ-साथ, तेरी आँखों में डूबते-उतराते,

अनगिनत सपने बुन लेंगे.........जो तुम साथ हो !!!

रंग-बिरंगे फूलों के बीच, तेरी काली-काली आँखों में

उमड़ती चाहतों को पढ़ लेंगे............जो तुम साथ हो !!!

वादी में बिखरी धुंध की तरह, अपने जीवन में फैले अंधेरों को

उजाले से भर देंगे...........जो तुम साथ हो !!!

क्या नाम दूं................!!!!

एहसास है यह,

तू ही बता, इसे शब्दों में कैसे बयां करूँ..............

जानते हुए भी अनजाना-सा,

पहचानते हुए भी अनचीन्हा-सा,

जिसे सिर्फ आँखों से ही पढ़ सकूँ

तू ही बता, उसे किसी शब्द में कैसे ढाल दूं.............

तुझसे दोस्ती है मेरी,

पर तू दोस्त से है बड़ा.....

तुझसे प्यार भी करती हूँ,

पर तू प्यार नहीं मेरा...

जिसे सिर्फ दिल से महसूस कर सकूँ

तू ही बता, उस प्यारी दोस्ती को मैं क्या नाम दूं................!!!!
